or a similar braid, just not a normal braid, this would be on a grey horse too
answers
1. Use rubber bands to separate the mane in to even pieces.
2. When you are satisfied that they are even, undo one at a time, braid it and put a rubber band on the end.
3. Once you have all of the mane in small braids, take out a needle and thread (either one that matches the mane or one that matches you jacket, ie. navy black ect.) Tread the needle and thread through the braid. Then loop in half and stick the needle though, then do it again and you should have a good button braid.

Oh yeah, DON"T USE SHOW SHEEN! It makes the mane slippery and impossible to braid. If this doesn't work,  just go to google.com. I really hope I helped!

plait the horses mane in alot of small plaits then wind each one around them selves until it looks like a button braid make sure to do this tight to ensure they will stay intact any strings of loose hair can then be neatened into place using human hair gel! hope this helps!!

it depends how long the horses mane is, but you do a small braid (i am hoping you know how to do that part if you dont, google it) then fold it in half up and down twice, the tie a ribbon around it.

you braid the hair in strands and then you neatly form it into the shape of a button. not much to it. i do it all the time.
