My bearded dragon, aged one year, has begun to refuse live food, but will accept veg if fed by hand. Heating and lighting all ok, and the dragon is active and well. Anyone got any ideas?

Beardies begin to turn more over to veggies when they get older, yours just seems to be ahead of it's time. It's okay, because it should have enough calcium by now. That is, if you coated the live food it was eating, if not, sprinkle calcium powder on the veggies. Just feed your beardie a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, but avoid avocado, because they are poisonous.

You're lucky yours takes veggies. Mine is picky and will only eat crickets and romaine lettuce.
